Course Description
If the United States came apart in the 1960s, did it come back together in the 1970s and 1980s, or something else? This course looks at the emergence of new social movements (e.g., the women's and environmentalist movements), the rise of the new right, the Reagan revolution in domestic policy, and American foreign policy from the fall of Saigon to the collapse of the Soviet Bloc.
