Course Description
This course provides an introduction to experimental methods in economics. Economic theories previously studied will be tested and either confirmed or evidence will be discovered that the theories are incorrect. Those found to be incorrect are usually based on questionable assumptions. Students will also become familiar with state-of-the- art research methodology in experimental economics, and will participate in and conduct experiments in bargaining, auction markets, and other economic situations.
