The vocabulary and techniques of painting, sculpture, architecture, the decorative arts, and printmaking; the emergence of modernism, abstraction, new materials, and non-objective art. Emphasis on the institutions of art and historical context as well. Visual analysis, verbal and written interpretation of art.
