Examination of Earth materials and processes: How our dynamic planet works including plate tectonics, geologic age determination, processes that form the rocks we see at the Earth's surface, development of the stunning variety of landscapes we see, and other topics of contemporary interest including floods, underground water resources, coastal erosion, earthquakes, landslides, volcanoes, and climate change.
