Course Description
Students review skills learned in earlier acting classes with a higher degree of emphasis on performance. Professional workshops in acting technique are offered such as Meisner, Chekhov, or Grotowski techniques. Focus is on in-depth textual analysis - discovering in the inner workings of a play, of scenes and monologues and the making of character choices. Students will gain an understanding the work of a professional actor, and the discipline of the theatre business.
