Course Description
Students will explore the art of poetry by examining a selection of poems from at least three cultures and by considering how poetry conveys its complex meanings through voice, image, rhythm, as well as formal and experimental structures. Particular attention will be given to developing reading and writing skills. 100-level courses are open to all students.
