Course Description
Birds are excellent subjects to study all levels of biological organization, from biochemistry and genetics through physiology, ecology, and evolution. This course emphasizes the evolution, morphology, physiology, ecology, and conservation biology of avifauna. A conservation management perspective on birds will highlight proactive measures to maintain and restore bird populations.
