Course Description
Designed to engage the aspiring actor in developing performance power, technique, and discipline, including self-discovery, in-depth character exploration, and textual analysis. Understanding what goes into actions, objectives, and given circumstances will be part of the process of beginning monologue and scene work. Appreciation of theatre as a profession through learning how to prepare and see other performances. It will require an open heart and mind in order to have the opportunity to take risks, challenge oneself, and be creative.
