Course Description
This course will present a broad overview of language and its instantiation within the human brain. We will pay particular attention to 1) the ways that neurological disorders impact language functioning, and 2) how these patterns of language breakdown inform psychological models of typical language processing. This course will cover basic anatomy as well as a survey of language related topics (e.g., speech perception, deafness, language acquisition, linguistic diversity).
