Covers contemporary theory and research on (a) attitudes and social cognition (e.g., attitude formation and change; impression formation; persuasion; stereotypes and prejudice; emotion; self-regulation), (b) interpersonal relationships and group processes (e.g., romance; intergroup relations; aggression; pro- and anti-social behavior), and (c) personality and individual differences (e.g., trait structure, development, assessment, and outcomes). Weekly lab involves learning and applying topically relevant research methods.
