Course Description
Besides the USA, Canada, the UK and Ireland, there are dozens of countries where English is commonly spoken and written. From Australia to Zimbabwe, Belize to Nigeria, Jamaica to India, New Zealand to Kenya, literature in English is a world-wide phenomenon. In this course, students will read and analyze English-language poems, short stories, personal essays, and novels from a selection of far-flung countries, to learn about the peoples' cultures, histories, struggles, and achievements.
