Medicinal Chemistry

This course focuses on medicinal chemistry and the underlying principles of organic chemistry. Topics to be covered might include drug discovery, lead modification, drug-receptor interactions, structure-activity relationships (SAR), pro-drugs and biomimetics. Physicochemical properties and synthetic approaches to drug families will be especially emphasized.
