Course Description
A critical evaluation of United States domestic and internationaldrugpolicy. In this course, students will gain an understanding of domestic and international drugpolicy, and will apply a sociological perspective to understand the historic and current situational forces which shape America'sWaronDrugs. We will evaluate currentdrugcontrol strategies and the inequalities that have emerged as a result. This course also offers an overview of America's internationalwaron drugsand the role it plays in other parts of the world.
