Course Description
This class aims to help students discover their potential for singing, acting, and dancing through the performance of scenes from the opera and musical theater literature. Special emphasis will be given to the improvement of sight-reading. Through a combination of lecture and hands-on performance, students will also learn to understand the basics of voice types, vocal technique, and other performance-related issues in the field. Guest speakers and instructors will be invited to share their experiences with students to further their understanding of the vocal performance industry.
